Motor Vehicle Claim

Western Guaranty settles claims faster than what the law requires as long as the required documents are complete and submitted. You may report a claim by immediately contracting your branch or Western Guaranty directly. Our claims service officers will be glad to guide and walk you through the procedure and assist you in collating the necessary documents.


1. Report the accident to the Traffic Enforcer at the site of the accident. Then report to the nearest Police Station for further documentation and assistance.
2. In the absence of the Police Officer, you can go to the closest Barangay Hall and request a copy of the blotter or report.
3. Report immediately the accident to your Agent or Claim Staff for immediate action. Reporting may be thru phone calls, emails, or directly to the Claims Department.

Do not compromise or make any settlement to the Third-Party without the approval of our Claims Officer.


Submit the following documents as soon as possible to avoid further issues:

FOR OWN DAMAGE CLAIM (Basic Requirements)

1. Police Report or Notarized Affidavit of Accident
2. Photocopy of Car Registration with latest Official Receipt
3. Photocopy of Driver’s License with latest Official Receipt
4. Repair Estimate (WGC’s Authorized Repair/CASA)
5. Pictures of Damaged Unit
6. Stencil of Vehicles Motor and Serial
7. Photocopy of Policy
8. Original Car Keys in case of Total Loss

1. Basic Requirements
2. Medical Certificate, Hospital Bills, and Medical Receipts
3. Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Funeral, and Burial Receipts (for Third-Party involving death)

4. Official Receipt and Car Registration (OR/CR)
5. Certificate of Non-recovery
6. Photocopy of Valid-ID w/ 3 specimen signatures
